I have many friends with good awareness of car seat safety, but my friend Karlise has some extensive knowledge and is a great resource. She'll love this.

Not quite sure what it is? Why it's my dad, taking a saw to a car seat. You might not know it, but all car seats expire. Instead of putting them out at the road where they could be taken by unknowing individuals to reuse, you should always cut them up so they are in an unusuable state. I believe some fire stations, police stations or car seat safety experts might be willing to take them for their use in demonstrations and such, but if not this is apparently how you should dispose of them.
