Today was some nasty, nasty weather. While Tyler was at school my parents, Jason and I went to Walmart, and of course got caught in a downpour! While we were there we bought some cheap sugar cookie dough and icing, so it seemed like the perfect thing to do on a rainy yucky day considering my grandparents had just brought over some Easter cookie cutters!
After Tyler's school we ate lunch. A heron came to visit us for some of his own lunch.
Jason tried carrots, which he thought were very yummy.
And then we finally got working on those cookies after rest time!

Making cookies on rainy days is the best! I'm glad Jason enjoyed his carrots and what an absolutely adorable expression on Tyler's face as he shows off his cookie! Precious!
That bird is actually a Sandhill Crane. They are endangered and it is illegal to do anything to them, no matter how annoying they can get.
ahh, good to know. I didnt' find it annoying though. Tyler was fascinated. It kept coming and eating our birdseed! LOL.
