I haven't posted American Idol stuff in a couple of weeks, so I thought it was about time.
I LOVE the guys. The girls are a different story (I doubt you'll see me posting about them tomorrow..they don't do as much for me).
So, for me it's a tie between 3 of them, maybe 4....but all for different reasons. For which I will now discuss:
David Archuleta: He's just so darn cute. Not cute in a "I'm attracted to him" type of way, but in, "awww, he's so cute". And damn, he's good! I absolutely loved his rendition of Imagine last week. I was tempted to pay for the iTunes download, and I've NEVER done anything like that related to Idol. He wasn't as great this week, but he's consistently good. He better be in this thing for a while.
David Cook: He was my favorite from the top 24. There is something edgy about him that I just like. Plus, I must completely disagree with Simon, I LOVE that he admitted to being a "word nerd" (I believe that was the term). What girl does not like a guy who knows his vocab? Totally hot! And I really appreciate that he actually changed up the songs a bit. Makes it interesting.
Jason Castro: Okay, I was a little embarrassed to admit this one, but I just like him. I think he's cute in a quirky kinda way. Sorta like that fun, carefree guy you used to hang out with in high school. I think he kinda reminds me of my brother's friend "Sloth", if Sloth could sing. He's likable, in a funny sorta way. Plus, I really like his voice. Plus, how could you NOT like the song he sang tonight? He's always been in my top 5 pick, but tonight won me over.
My 4th pick is probably Michael Johns. What can I say, I'm a sucker for an accent. Plus, I like the kind of music he always picks.
I would like to reiterate, as I said the first week of the top 24, Luke Menard must go. NOW!

I don't watch Idol, but I clicked on your links. That Michael Johns guy has a great list of influences. I LOVE all of them (well, maybe I don't love AC/DC), especially Neil Finn, who is one of my all time favorites.
I agree!!! Luke needs to go!!! I also like Jason and loved the song he did last night. I also like David A. and David C. but I'm not to fond of Michael Johns. I liked him in the beginning (especially when he did Queen during Hollywood week) but I just don't think he's done as well lately. With that said, I don't want him to get kicked off on Thursday because I think he's better than a lot of the girls left.
