A day in Atlantic City!

So Tyler has been begging to go to Showboat and eat at the buffet for at least a week now. I've never tried to claim he's a normal 3-year-old! LOL. Well, he was finally feeling better so we decided to go once my parents got off work yesterday. The rides are only open Fri-Sun anyway, and considering it's supposed to be in the mid to high 90's on Saturday and Sunday (yes, that's right!) we figured Friday night was our best bet.

We had a very nice early dinner at the French Quarter buffet at Showboat. Tyler got a lemonade, which is a huge treat. Of all the foods he could pick from, he wanted dry lettuce, craisins, croutons, cornbread, plain pasta, and a meatball. He had a few bites. His appetite still isn't there.

Anyway, afterwards we head off to the boardwalk. Tyler rode his favorite rides before convincing us to buy him cotton candy before heading off to the beach. It wasn't really a beach type of day (a bit cloudy and it had rained the day before so the sand was wet) but that didn't stop him. He had a ball!

All in all, it was a nice day (even though I did lose $20 playing slots)!
