Tuesday (August 10th), after a busy morning of errands and typical stuff (library, kohls, and a HOT trip to freedom park), we relaxed a bit while Jason napped. Then we packed up our stuff and head over to Melinda's so we could drive together to Sesame Place. Melinda and Scarlett have passes, and this Tuesday was the last day that they could each bring someone for free during twilight hours (after 3). We we braved the heat and had a great time. Tyler loved the water stuff, even trying a ride with Melinda. We had dinner in a little cafeteria-type place, complete with Elmo plates. We had time for a few rides too, including a "mini-rocket"-type ride that Jason was even allowed to go on. I was leery about whether he would like it, but he was quickly signing "more" after it was over. We did a few other rides before catching the parade. A hit for both Tyler and Jason (and Scarlett of course). We had time for a few more things before it was time for the park to close. I was disappointed we didn't have more time, but so thankful to Melinda for getting us in for free so we could experience it at all. And as if Tyler hadn't had a great enough time, Melinda let him pick out a gift in the souvenir shop for his birthday (they wouldn't be able to attend his party). Thanks again Melinda!
