Disney, day 2

The second day found us at the Animal Kingdom.

The boys were a little surprised by A Bug's Life. Actually Jason was unaware of any of the special effects, and Ty missed some of them too. Oh well, cute anyway. One of my favorite attractions at Animal Kingdom.

Ate a really early lunch at Pizzafari.

My dad, Ty and I rode the Kali River Rapids. Although we got soaked, it wasn't enough to cool us off quite enough. The heat was stifling!

While Jason finished up a stroller nap (my mom rocked at getting him to fall asleep in the stroller), I took Ty into the fossil play area and dig site. Eventually Jason joined us for some digging when he awoke.

My dad often volunteered to watch the stroller and other important things. Perfect example.

After Tyler refused to ride the Dinosaur ride, but cried because he was too short for Primeval Whirl, the boys took a spin on a triceratops.

We got to see Pluto and Goofy.

Jason just kept on waving to the characters.

Until he was distracted by a cute little worm.

Next we took the train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch (or something of that nature). Learned about how they rehabilitate and take care of the animals. The boys did a little nature hunt as well.

Both boys thought it was great fun to pet and brush a goat. Ty's an old pro at this, but it was Jason's first time. He loved it!

We left Animal Kingdom in time to head to Animal Kingdom Lodge to eat dinner at BOMA. We were the first dinner seating of the evening, so the boys (Tyler and Aiden) got chosen to welcome the guests with a little African tribal drums (or something like that). Of course Jason was a little jealous and next thing we knew an employee was dragging out a drum for Jason too. Sooo cute! And delicious dinner. Great time, except for ANOTHER poopy diaper blow out. Great times. LOL.

We hung around the grounds of the Animal Kingdom Lodge afterwards. We played around the playground, the kids took turns driving my mom's scooter, and checked out the animals.

After dinner at BOMA we decided to take the bus on over to Downtown Disney. Of course the kids found the water fountains right away.

Cara had told Aiden he could pick out some stuff at the Lego store, so we made our way there next as the skies were darkening and it looked as if the sky would open at any moment. Tyler got to join in on the fun, and even Jason had fun playing outside with legos (and Cara surprised him with some legos too). As it started to thunder and lightening my mom made her way back towards the bus (the scooter shouldn't obviously be out in the rain) while we all stayed back for more lego store and candy store stuff. Eventually we caught up to her (she was still waiting for a bus) as it started to rain heavier. Luckily we all squeezed on the next bus.

That night after the rain stopped, we all met back at the hotel pool. Jason showed off his jumping!
