Labor Day Weekend, part 1

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to find a cheap flight so that Al could join us for Labor Day weekend, without having to drive. Turns out that the flight was totally necessary because he ended up injuring his foot on Friday at work and would have been unable to do the long drive from NC to NJ and back again!

So he arrived early Saturday and he and Tyler had some catch up play time. Jason showed Al his new cool dance moves. Later that afternoon, after resttime (and a nap for Al and Jason) we went to the lake. My parents brought down cheesesteaks for dinner and we had a nice little picnic. Absolutely GORGEOUS weather!




That evening, after the boys were in bed, we met my brother and Cara at PJs for some appetizers and drinks. We had a really nice time. Wish the baby would have slept longer so we could have stayed longer!
