By Monday night I had had enough of cleaning, and I really thought the boys needed a break. Jason had been clingy and cranky all day, but wouldn't sleep on the aerobed, so I figured I'd take them out. He very well may have screamed the whole time, but he was doing that anyway at home, so I might as well make the best of it. I decided to bring them down to Apollo Beach to see the gulf (okay, the bay) one last time before the move. Plus, Jason had never experienced the gulf water at all, so it needed to happen. So, off to the beach we went...or what was left of it anyway...
It was a great decision. Both boys had a ball. Tyler splashed around, collected treasures, and otherwise was just happy. Jason literally sat in one place the whole time, playing with sand, seashells, water, etc. He especially loved to use seashells as teething rings. Good stuff!
