Monday was our final day of spring break. Phew. We spent lunchtime at Bob Meyer park for a little picnic. Tyler announced it was too hot. Jason conquered the climbing incline thing, two times before becoming shaky.
Our spring break ended with our first trip to the lake for the season. I personally thought the water was a little cold, but the boys disagreed with me.
Then off to another baseball game.
On Tuesday Tyler was FINALLY back to school after a long spring break. However it was a tease with only a half day. At least Jason had his speech therapy during that time slot so I didn't have to deal with Tyler interrupting therapy. Karate that evening.
Wednesday we had some outdoor time with Jason during Tyler's only real full day of school that week.
Yet another baseball game that night.
On Thursday Tyler was off of school and into my dad's work for "take your child to work day". Tyler was so excited to go to Sequoia. He got to help make coffee, said the pledge of allegiance over the loud speaker (apparently quite loudly), did a project in the art room, did some math with the high school students, and helped with some outdoor cleanup. He was quite pleased with himself.
Jason had OT (and thankfully Tyler was with my dad and not at home).
That afternoon I had Tyler's final parent-teacher conference with Mrs. Hubner. She had wonderful things to say about Tyler, which of course is always nice to hear. I snuck a picture of his art work in the hallway.
And then Friday, when Tyler should have been at school, we were on our way to North Carolina. But that's my next post....
