Easter arrived and the bunny left some good goodies from the Easter bunny. I'd like to add that it is incredibly difficult to fill an Easter basket with dye-free goodies. I succeeded though. Tyler was up first and got to open his basket before Jason even woke up. Both were quite happy with their loot.
Not long after getting up the boys were dressed and ready we were out the door to Al's mom and John's house. Shockingly the Easter bunny was there, hiding eggs in the yard. So the boys had an Easter egg hunt followed by Easter baskets from their grandparents. Fun stuff.
After our visit with Al's mom and John we came back home for a quick egg hunt at our house (just to kill some time...cause we needed yet another egg hunt).
Then we got ready to head to Jim & Cara's with the boys and my parents. My grandparents were there and obviously Cara's kids as well, and some friends of the family.
After brunch at Jim and Cara's we came back to the house and then Bob met us there before we (along with the boys, my parents, and Chris) went to Atlantic City. What gorgeous weather and the boys enjoyed a few rides on the pier.
Bob, myself and the boys spent some time on the beach while my dad and Chris walked the boardwalk and my mom did a little gambling.
After some time on the beach my brother Jim and Cara and her kids, as well as my grandparents, met us in the casino so we could all eat dinner. We had our 2nd-annual Easter dinner at the buffet, which was quite yummy. This was the first time that Bob met the extended family (he had met my parents and brothers before briefly). We also celebrated my dad's birthday (his birthday fell on Easter this year).
Literally as we left Atlantic City the rain that was supposed to be with us all day finally appeared. Just in time for us to see a beautiful rainbow on the way out. A great end to a great day.
