camp closing

Friday morning was Tyler's LONG camp closing ceremony. Thankfully Jason was fairly cooperative (and well-fed, thanks to his friend) while my mom and I watched. They did all the awards for the "specials" like swimming, music, and art. Tyler won "most improved swimmer" for his age group, which he was so proud of (as was I). He also got an award for perfect attendance. At the end each group did a performance. Ty's group did Elvis' "hound dog", which was pretty cute (hence why Ty and his group are all in brown, black, and white). And then he was issued his first camp shield. Quite the Medford Lakes tradition. Ty was sad for camp to be over, and sad to say goodbye to his counselor Brooke and junior counselor, but was excited to move on with the rest of our day (next blog post..lol).
