The day of Jason's party didn't exactly go as planned. He woke up with a rash all over his belly. Luckily there was no fever and Beth assured me that he'd likely be fine and NOT contagious. Then the weather forecast changed and it was already sprinkling come lunch time. To top it off, we had a party to go to for Tyler, and Jason was going to stay home for a nap but was screaming in his crib instead of napping.Reluctantly we head over to Indian Acres for Micheal's party in the rain. Luckily the rain did clear and a phone call to my mom revealed that Jason was finally napping. The kids had a great time at the party, played on the playground, bouncy house, a hayride, and pumpkin picking. And of course food and yummy cupcakes as well.
After the party I came home and finished loading up the car, woke up Jason, and head to Bob Meyer park with my mom and the boys to start setting up for the party. Meanwhile my dad went and got the pizza. The weather ended up clearing and it was beautiful. He had a great party, complete with lots of playing, a craft (candy necklace making), and waaayyyy too much food. He loved his Disney-themed party, especially the Donald Duck on his cake. He even tried to blow out his candles (eventually Ty did it for him). At the end he had time for opening presents and reacted with shock and amazement at each one. Too cute! Couldn't have asked for a better day for my little boy. I think he loved it!
